Live!

Just a few minutes ago, my "generation 2" auto trading account went live...

Currently 4 positions are open on a $5,000 demo account. Even though Positive Forex has not issued new signals yet, the demo account is sync'ed automatically with the current positions held by the system. I.e., we jump right in on the current state of the system equity curve. Of course, this means that the per-trade profits of these open trades will be different from what is shown by C2. Looking forward to see the first execution of a real signal...

I found that a little bit confusing - my apologies. Your account (sim trading right?) has psuedo allocaed positions and used margin even though you don't have any positions on?

Correct. The account is a demo (or "practice") account. It behaves (almost) exactly as a real account, e.g. you get a hypothetical sum of $5,000 to start with, can place trades etc. but the money is not real. Pretty much every forex broker offers this for free.

So I can test this new "generation 2" auto trading in the demo account without winning or losing any real money.
